Dammit

So I'm driving to Krispy Kreme's for some doughnuts and I was going a nice 35-40 in the right lane. Some idiot decides to make a turn into my driver's side door. He didn't have his license or insurance (supposedly his girlfriend had both) but he was able to recite his drivers license and SSN. I'm not sure if I've been scammed or not yet, but he seemed fairly legit. I would have called the cops had it not been for his passenger being a large tatooed (I noticed one tatoo was of a Marijuana leaf - classy) man. We'll see how this turns out. Luckily I was driving a '98 Chevy Blazer and not a new BMW and the only damaged part was my driver's side door panel. 

Liquidation

Last weekend, three local stores were liquidating - it was kind of unnerving to know that stores you've to wont be there soon.

Albertsons had signs everywhere advertising 10-50% off some everything in the store. Most of the Pasta Roni and easy to cook stuff that I got was 25% off. I spent $111.63. It was kind of exciting to spend over a hundred dollars in food and know you're saving a lot of money. The spaghetti sauce was 50% off so I got 6 jars. They expire in late 2007 - I shouldn't have to buy any more until then.

Robinsons-May got bought by Macy*s, so they were liquidating at 20-40%. I got two badly needed pairs of jeans plus a pretty hot blazer.

Toys-R-Us in Mira Mesa was going out too, so I finally had the excuse I needed to buy Twister. I'm going to make friends with the fourth floor people above our noisy neighbors on the third floor. And we shall have a Twister party.

The New Blog

Okay, so I switched to Blogger. It's a lot easier to post now so hopefully I'll post more.
